Freshwater Fish

Freshwater fish are fish that spend thier entire lives in freshwaters like rivers, lakes and in some cases freshwater aquariums. To survive in freshwater, the gills of these fish must be able to diffuse the freshwater while also keeping enough salt in their body.

My freshwater aquarium is full of all different kinds of freshwater pet fish, big and small. Recently, the favorite amongst spectators has been my new Glofish.
